Finally...the Defining Leadership Project is Here!!
Hi All! I am really excited to finally launch the Defining Leaders Project! I am really excited about it and I think it's really going to take Renewing Leadership to the next level. Check out the video I made to explain...
I really hope you'll consider getting involved in the Defining Leadership Project! Like I said at the beginning...in order for this to make an impact, I am really going to need your help! My hope is that you'll send me a video and then tell your friends about it and encourage them to do the same. I really want people from all walks of life to participate!
By the way...the song at the beginning is called "Wonderful" by Gary Go. I love the song, so if you like it too, go buy it like I did. You won't regret it!
Just to recap...here's what I need you to do:
1. Make a short video (less than a minute) using your phone, webcam, or your other favorite video recording device including:
- Your name
- Where you're from - share whats comfortable for you
- Your job - again...share whats comfortable for you
- Your leadership definition: I believe leadership is...
2. Send your video via email to definingleadersproject@gmail.com
3. Tell a few friends about it and encourage them to participate
4. Look for your video on http://www.renewingleadership.org
I am really thankful for the support of friends who have liked Renewing Leadership on Facebook and have visiting the blog. I really hope this project will encourage you all to keep checking back in and spreading the word! I have a few lined up to post to help inspire you if you need it, so check back soon!
I'm looking forward to hearing from you!!

Hi Paul! I love what you're doing with Renewing Leadership. When I have my house to myself, I will happily add my 2 cents worth about the definition of leadership. I think it is important to provoke thought and move people to examine their assumptions. Our failure to think about the nature of leadership makes us vulnerable to "wolves in sheep's clothing" who appear to be leaders, but really are only serving their own agenda. Thanks for putting this on the radar!
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear from you John!! I appreciate your commitment to reflecting on leadership. I also appreciate your interest in the project! Feel free to spread the word!!
