Ella and Emma's Thoughts on Leadership

Already at seven and four years old, my daughters both have ideas about leadership. I really don't talk much about leadership at home, but when I asked Ella and Emma what leadership was, they both said,they knew.

Ella loves the camera, but Emma would only film if Ella was sitting next to her!

I think it's interesting they already think of leadership as something only some get to do. Ella talked about the "boss" and "the president". Emma talked about the person at the front of the line during "follow the leader". At this young age they already view leadership as something others do (unless they get to be at the front of a game of follow the leader) :-). We'll have to talk more with them about this!
